What we do

We prepare the case. The lender decides.

We assess and structure mortgage and property-finance cases, compare viable lender routes and help clients understand the conditions before signing.

International clients can complete the initial process in English by video call, phone and secure digital communication. The lender is always responsible for the final credit decision, and we never promise approval or a particular rate.

Who reviews our content

Rafael, founder of RCG Finance.

Before founding RCG Finance he was a debt and M&A advisor at firms including KPMG and PwC, in Barcelona and Luxembourg, where he worked on more than 80 corporate finance transactions.

That background is why we are comfortable with cases banks find harder to read: income from a company you own, dividends, several currencies or a holding structure.

He reviews every guide and service page before it is published or updated, and checks the figures against primary sources. The review date shown on each page is the date of his last check.

Editorial method

How we prepare financial content.

Publishing a figure about a mortgage means someone may act on it. This is the route every guide takes before it goes live.

  1. Define the questionEvery guide starts from one concrete question it has to answer by the end.
  2. Verify the claimsWe check financial and legal statements against primary sources such as the Bank of Spain and Spain's official gazette.
  3. Label the estimatesWe say when a figure is an estimate or depends on a lender, a valuation or an individual profile.
  4. Date and citeEach article shows its publication or update date and lists the main sources.
  5. Correct itWe revise published content when regulation or verified market information changes.

Registration and transparency

How far a guide goes.

You can verify authorised intermediaries through the official Bank of Spain registers.

Educational guides do not replace transaction-specific banking, legal, tax or notarial advice. Where another regulated professional is required, we say so explicitly.

Our guides and articles do not name or recommend individual lenders, and we are not paid to feature any. Legal and currency partners who help with a purchase are coordinated by us but act under their own terms.
